Jo and James {the wedding}

I was so excited when Jo got in touch with us to ask us to photograph her wedding (the wedding we ended up photographing was not the wedding she first wrote to us about, or second wrote to us about, but that's another story). Jo was sent our way by Miss Pickering, who if you don't know, is probably among the best florist in England, and certainly the most eccentric, and who was beflowering Jo and James' wedding.

Many months later, we found ourselves flying south from the frosty North to the altogether more temperate south to meet with the lovely Jo and James the day before their wedding at the beautiful and superbly English Bix Manor, just outside Henley on Thames. It was another perfect autumn day (in Oxfordshire. It was winter in the Highlands) where the low sun lit up the leaves and illuminated every gorgeous detail. The flowers were exquisite, the music fabulous and the whole day a delight to be a part of. We are so glad that Jo and James asked us to be a part of their day, it was a perfect beginning to a new chapter for Lillian and Leonard, who are now London Wedding Photographers baby!
