Lisa and James' wedding was the first of a two day wedding extravaganza that we had in May. I know a lot of photographers (and videographers and venues and bands) quite regularly do two weddings in a weekend, but we don't. Until we did. Both Lisa and James and Karen and Scott (coming soon) were too lovely to pass up and we're so glad that we took on both days as they were each really wonderful to be a part of.

Lisa and James got married at Lothian Chambers, in the middle of Edinburgh's Old Town. Then, after some photos taken in Parliament Square they headed to The Minto Hotel with their guests where everyone tucked in to an afternoon tea of biscuits and strawberry tarts, perfect for a May wedding. After tea (and a little drinking and mingling on the lawns) James' parents tore up the dance floor with their respective bands, before Lisa and James took to the stage themselves in our first ever husband and wife, wedding duet! An amazing end to a day that was so very much fun, for us and for all of the guests.

Ceremony venue; Lothian Chambers

OMG, we're getting married at Lothian Chambers and having the reception at the Minto Hotel next year and it's so cool to see what this couple did with the space!

What a cool wedding, I love all of the purple touches and the groom's shirt is rocking! I hope I look as hot as Lisa next summer!
